Titus
Salt School
In December 2006 Salts Sports Association and
Salt Grammar School (now Titus Salt School) engaged
in a long term joint sports development plan.
The 1,400 children at Titus Salt utilised the
facilities at Salts Sports Association for the
next 3 years whilst a new school and sports facilities
were built on the existing schools playing fields.
Long-term the school and sports association have
agreed a joint development plan with the sports
association having access to the schools sports
facilities and developing extra curriculum sports
activities. In 2009 Titus Salt School and Salts
Tennis Club agreed a joint tennis coaching role
and Richard Senior was appointed as head coach.
Richard is currently delivering a tennis coaching
and competitive play program at the school and
club. Our thanks go to Sue Mansfield (Head Teacher),
and Sue Foster (Extended Schools Development Officer).
